The Department of Classics at Dartmouth College seeks to appoint a visiting lecturer for the 2019-20 and 2020-2021 academic years. Candidates for this position should be specialists in ancient Greek or Latin languages and literature, preferably with Ph.D. in hand, who are prepared to teach courses in Greek and Latin at all levels as well as one or more courses in Greek and Roman mythology and/or topics courses on aspects of ancient culture and societies. This non-renewable two-year position requires teaching five courses over three ten-week academic quarters each year, starting September 1, 2019 but with an option to start June 15, 2019. The post has been approved and comes with competitive salary and benefits.
