The Classics Program at the University of California, Davis invites applicants for a tenure-track position in Greek Literature at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning July 1, 2013. Research specialization within this area is open, with secondary interest in late antiquity or receptions; candidates with an interest in interdisciplinary work will be preferred. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in Greek and Latin literature and large humanities courses in mythology and Greek civilization. Ph.D. in Classics or related field must be in hand before the first day of classes, September 23, 2013.
