The University of California, Riverside, invites applications for a one-year lecturer position, with an appointment of at least 78% for the 2002-03 academic year. Candidates must have at least an M.A. degree in Classics with specialization in Classical Greek and significant teaching experience. Duties over three quarters will consist of teaching seven courses (at 78% FTE) or more (for higher FTE), and may include courses in elementary Greek, in advanced Greek, in general and scientific etymology, in mythology, and in classical literature in translation. Present Lecturer salary per class is $3,953.
