Ancient Roman History –The Department of History at the University of California, San Diego invites applications for a tenure-track, entry-level assistant professorship in ancient history, with a specialization in Roman history. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to scholarly research and publication as well as a serious dedication to undergraduate and graduate teaching. The appointment will be effective July 1, 2005, with salary based on published salary scales of the University of California.
