The Department of Classics at the University of California, Santa Barbara invites applications for the position of Lecturer. Preference will be given to applicants who hold the Ph.D. and have demonstrated effectiveness in teaching both language and lecture courses. This is a one-year, non-renewable position for the 2011-2012 academic year. The department is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching and service.
