UNIVERSITY COLLEGE CORK - CORK, IRELAND
Coláiste na hOllscoile Corcaigh - Lectureship in Classics. The position is in the Department of Ancient Classics (for further details of staff, courses and research, see our web site at http://www.ucc.ie/acad/classics/.

The successful candidate will be required to develop courses and teach and examine Greek and Roman Art and Architecture and its reception, Latin and Greek at all levels, to research and publish in the area of her/his specialism, to undertake fieldwork or organise site tours with undergraduate students, to supervise research students and to contribute to the Department's administration.

Candidates must have a BA degree in Classics (Greek and Latin) and have, or be about to receive, a PhD degree in some aspect of the visual arts of Greece and Rome, including their reception.

The post is full-time and permanent. The current remuneration - [new entrants] - is from EUR25,947 - EUR42,150 (currency is euro).
