The Department of Classics at the University of Colorado invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. by August 19, 2002, will have a strong background and research interests in Latin Literature, and will be qualified to teach Greek and Latin at all levels. Letter of application, C.V., a short sample (c. 20 pages) of scholarly work and dossier including at least three letters of recommendation should be sent to: Professor Peter E.
