UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS – IRVING, TX (Two Positions)
POSITION ONE: The Classics Department at the University of Dallas invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Classics, to teach undergraduate classes in Latin and Greek at all levels, and classics in translation. The main desiderata in any candidate are skill in Latin and Greek and a love of classical literature. U.D. is a Catholic university with a classically oriented, 20-course core program, and we seek candidates who have a strong desire to teach at such a place. DATE: Applications will be read until the position is filled, but for interviews at the APA/AIA convention, applicants should arrange for us to receive their materials by December 1, 2011.

POSITION TWO: The Classics Department at the University of Dallas invites applications for a one-year, and possibly two-year, Visiting Assistant Professor of Classics, to teach undergraduate classes in Latin and Greek at all levels, and classics in translation. Requirements, desired traits, and instructions are the same as those for Position One.
Both positions are subject to final budgetary approval.
