UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA – ATHENS, GA
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF CLASSICS. The Department of Classics at The University of Georgia (http://helios.classics.uga.edu) invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position with a research specialization in Greek prose, to begin in August 2006 (doctorate required by July 1, 2006). The teaching load is four courses per academic year; starting salary will be nationally competitive. The successful candidate will have significant experience in both traditional and technology-enhanced classrooms, teach a broad range of courses in Greek, Latin, and Classical Culture, and supervise M.A. theses.
