Post-doctoral Assistant. The Heidelberg Classics Department invites applications for a three- and possibly six-year full-time position as post-doctoral assistant.

The position is to be filled from October 1st 2010.

The successful candidate is expected to do independent research, to aim for post-doctoral lecture qualification (Habilitation / second book), to fulfill administrative duties and to teach. Teaching load will be 2-2. A doctoral degree / Ph.D. in Greek and Latin is required. Salary according to German TV-L 13.
