University of Kansas-Lawrence, KS (Two Positions)

Instructor in Classics. The University of Kansas seeks two temporary instructors: one Instructor in Archaeology and Ancient Art; and one Instructor in Modern Greek. Both are definite positions for the spring 2001 semester only (January 1-May 16, 2001).

Position One: Instructor in Archaeology and Ancient Art: The primary responsibility of this position is the instruction of three courses in the Classics department: an introductory course in classical archaeology, a course on women in ancient art and society, and one other Classics course. Ph.D. preferred. Salary: $20,500 for one semester, for candidate with Ph.D. in hand.

Position Two: Instructor in Modern Greek: The primary responsibility of this position is the instruction of one course in Modern Greek. Masters degree required. Salary: $2,500.
