The Department of Classics at the University of Massachusetts at Boston invites applications for a definite one-year full-time position that will begin in September 2001. We seek a generalist, Ph.D. or ABD, to teach undergraduate courses in Latin, Greek or classics in translation. The teaching load is 3-3. Interest in helping develop an MAT program would be a plus. This position has the potential to become tenure-track.
