The Department of Classics at the University of Mississippi (http://classics.olemiss.edu/) invites applications for a one-year, non-tenure-track appointment at the rank of Instructional Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will have the Ph.D. in hand, with teaching experience in Latin and courses in Classical Civilization (CLC). Fall 2013 courses are set: 2 sections of Latin 101 and 1 section of CLC 106 (Classical Mythology). Starting date for this position is August 15, 2013.
