The Department of Classics at the University of Mississippi seeks applicants for the post of visiting assistant professor for the 2000-2001 academic year. Applicants must be able to teach Greek at all levels to both undergraduate and graduate students as well as courses in classical civilization, such as Greek literature, drama, and tragedy in translation. Ph.D. (or ABD) in Classics required. Starting date for the position is 15 August 2000. Review of applications will begin on 1 June 2000 and will continue until an adequate pool is reached.
