Ancient Historian, Tenure Track. The Department of Classics at the University of Mississippi invites ancient historians to apply for the tenure-track position of Assistant Professor, to begin in academic year 2004-2005 (starting date mid-August, 2004). In addition to offering a broad array of courses in ancient Mediterranean history, applicants must be able to teach Latin and Greek language at all levels to undergraduate and graduate students. A completed Ph.D. is required. Review of applications will begin on December 10, 2003 and will continue until the position is filled or until an adequate pool of candidates is reached.
