Tenure track position for Assistant Professor with classics/comparative literature background to teach classical literature in translation in English Department (myth, Bible, drama, classical tradition) to graduates and undergraduates, as well as second-year (and beyond) Latin and Greek tutorials for Foreign Language Department; coordinate interdisciplinary Classical and Ancient Studies Program and supervise lower-level Greek and Latin faculty; research interest in ancient or medieval religion preferred, for participation in Religious Studies Ph.D. program. Teaching load: two courses per semester plus Foreign Language tutorial(s) and administrative responsibilities for Classical and Ancient Studies.
