Chaired Professor in the Department of Classics. The Department of Classics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has been authorized to search for a Kenan Eminent Professor. The area of specialization is open, but an attempt will be made to complement the Department’s current strengths. We would particularly welcome candidates with interests in historiography, law, or religion. We seek a scholar with an international reputation for excellence in research, and a demonstrated commitment to teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as potential for intellectual leadership and strong service.
