UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA - GREENSBORO, NC
The Department of Classical Studies invites applications for a definite tenure-track appointment as Assistant Professor of Classical Studies, with a specialization in archaeology and material culture, beginning in August 2004. Candidates must have the Ph.D. in hand by the time of appointment. UNCG offers major concentrations both through the Classical Studies Department and an interdepartmental Archaeology program, so the successful candidate will have a chance to develop courses for both programs. We seek a person who can also teach Latin, as well as a range of courses in classical civilization, and who can contribute to the Department's teacher training efforts and its M.Ed. in Latin.
