UNIVERSITY OF NORTH DAKOTA – GRAND FORKS, ND
The History Department at the University of North Dakota invites applications for a one-year visiting professorship in Ancient History beginning August 2007. The successful candidate will carry a 4-3 load and must be able to teach the first part of Western Civilization (until 1500) and a one semester course in Greek History, Roman History, and an upper division elective in their specialty. Ph.D. is preferred, but ABD candidates will be considered. Ability to work well with undergraduate and graduate students and proven or potential excellence in teaching required.
