UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME – NOTRE DAME, IN
Applications are invited for a one-year position as Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Classics at the University of Notre Dame. The position may be renewable for a second year. Applicants should be prepared to teach undergraduate courses in Greek and Latin language and literature, and to offer courses in classical literature and culture in translation. Applications from candidates with teaching and research interests in Roman art and archaeology will be particularly welcome.

The closing date for applications is November 15, 2008. Preliminary interviews will take place at the APA/AIA Annual Meeting in Philadelphia in January, 2009.
