The University of Redlands invites applications for a tenure track position in Classics (rank open) beginning fall 2002. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and teaching classes in one or more of the following areas: Greek and Roman philosophy, ancient Greek and Roman history, historical anthropology, classical literature, mythology, and related subjects. Language instruction may be part of the position. We are seeking a person who can develop interdisciplinary courses with colleagues.

Qualifications: Ph.D. at time of appointment in any discipline in which the majority of the work toward the degree was done in areas that concern the ancient Greco-Roman world.
