The Department of Classical Studies at the University of Richmond seeks applications for a one-year sabbatical leave appointment for the 2003-2004 academic year. Depending on future decisions, it may be possible to extend the appointment for a second year. The position is for a generalist. Teaching duties will include elementary Latin and classical literature in translation. They may also include advanced or specialist courses that support our curricula in the ancient languages and in Classical Civilization. Teaching load: four courses per semester (with no more than three preparations).
