The University of South Carolina will appoint a Visiting Assistant Professor of Classics with a specialty in Greek for the academic year 2002-2003 with the possibility of renewal. The successful candidate will teach two semesters of beginning Greek, one semester of intermediate Greek, and two large-enrollment courses in Greek mythology and Classical literature in translation. Preference will be given to those with a Ph.D. in hand and demonstrated experience in teaching popular undergraduate courses.
