The Department of Greek and Roman Studies at the University of Victoria invites applications for a possible full-time sessional lectureship for the period September 1, 2001 - April 30, 2002. The position is subject to final budgetary approval. The person appointed will be responsible for teaching six single semester courses (3 + 3), including courses in Greek History and Greek Society, and elementary Greek and Latin. An opportunity exists for also teaching Ancient Technology if a suitable candidate is available. Completion of the Ph.D. is desirable. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, in conformity with the CUPE Local 4163 (Component 3) agreement.
