The Department of Classics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison anticipates an opening for a one year position as 100% time Visiting Assistant Professor for the academic year 1999-2000. The candidate will be expected to teach five courses per academic year in Latin literature, as well as courses in Latin and/or Greek language. Candidates must have their Ph.D. in hand by the date of appointment, August 23, 1999. Please address your application to Professor James C.
