Applications are invited for the position of Lecturer, Classics, Department of Foreign Languages and Linguistics at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Minimum qualifications: substantial graduate work in Classics beyond the MA and competence in Latin and ancient Greek.

Preferred qualifications: proven ability to teach large lecture classes in Classics and to provide instruction in Latin or Greek language.

Principal duties: The successful applicant will teach four courses (twelve credits) a semester in Classics including mythology, civilization, literature in translation, and, depending on need, elementary or intermediate Greek or Latin.

Appointment type: Academic Staff – Fixed Term. Full time salary rate: minimum $31,950 depending on qualifications.
