Full time position in Classics at the Assistant Professor level for the year 2000-01 with possibility of renewal for up to two additional years to teach in a two-person Classics program. Qualifications: Ph.D. in Classics; generalist with ability to teach Latin, Greek, including Koine (many students are pre-seminary), and classical civilization; evidence of outstanding teaching, willingness to participate in University's undergraduate General Education program. Latin is preferred specialty but Hellenists are welcome to apply. Salary commensurate with experience.
