Kalamazoo College invites applications for a part time position in classics at the assistant professor or instructor level, beginning September 2014; the position may be renewed in subsequent years. The successful candidate will teach five courses over three terms, including Greek and Latin at all levels and courses in classical civilization; engagement with and service to the department is part of this position. We value a high aptitude for and interest in undergraduate teaching and a commitment to the liberal arts. ABDs will be considered; a completed Ph.D. is preferred. Salary is $35,000 and the position is benefits-eligible.
