WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY --MIDDLETON, CT (Possibly Two Positions)
The Department of Classical Studies invites applications for one, or possibly two, one-year positions as Visiting Assistant Professor of Classical Studies for the 2005-2006 academic year. We seek generalists who could offer courses at all levels in Greek, as well as in Greek art and archaeology, or Greek society and culture with reference to the material record. The teaching load will be two courses each semester, divided equally between language and the candidate's area of specialty. Candidates should have the PhD in hand by the time of appointment.
