WHEATON COLLEGE – NORTON, MA (2 Positions)

Wheaton College invites applications for two positions beginning July 1, 2013: a part-time, one-year visiting position; and a full-time one-year visiting position, with the possibility of renewal for an additional year. The teaching load is three courses (part-time) or five courses (full-time) over a two-semester academic year, and will include introductory and intermediate courses in Latin and Greek, as well as courses in Classical literature and culture in translation. Field of specialization is open. The candidate should be an Ph.D. (or ABD) in Classics. Rank and title will be determined by the candidate's training and level of experience. The candidate must have excellent undergraduate teaching credentials, and be able to supply evidence for excellence in teaching.
