CLASSICS: Whitman College seeks a general classicist for a one-year sabbatical replacement position as Instructor/Assistant Professor beginning August, 2000. Strong language instructor to teach both first and second year Latin as full-year classes, as well as a semester of Classical Mythology and a semester-long civilization course of the instructor's own devising. Experienced language teacher with the depth to draw second-year students into further study.
