The Department of Archaeology and Classical Studies at Wilfrid Laurier University invites applications for a one-year Limited Term position, at the rank of Assistant Professor, effective July 1, 2005, subject to budgetary approval. We are seeking a candidate with a research specialty in Greek history and epigraphy. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. or be certain of its completion before beginning the appointment, and will be competent to teach courses in Classical civilization and in both Classical languages. Other requirements include a demonstrated excellence in teaching, and evidence of a research program and publications.
