WRIGHT STATE UNIVERSITY – DAYTON, OH
Assistant Professor, tenure-track, beginning September 1, 2006. The department seeks a generalist who can teach both Greek and Latin, courses in translation, topics in social and material culture, as well as courses in the university’s general education program. Area of specialization is open but a Latinist is preferred. Candidates must present evidence of excellence in teaching and a record of scholarship appropriate to current status. Ph.D or ABD in final stage of dissertation process. Experience working with area high school teachers is a plus. Applications must be received by December 1, 2005.
