Position Description: The Department of the Classics seeks applications for a lecturer in Ancient History. The appointment is expected to begin on July 1, 2015. The lecturer will be responsible for four courses, comprising three undergraduate courses and a graduate seminar, and may also advise and evaluate senior theses or conduct reading courses with graduate students, and contribute to the supervision of graduate research. The position is for one year.

Basic Qualifications: Doctorate in Ancient History or related discipline ordinarily required by the time the appointment begins.

Additional Qualifications: Demonstrated excellence in teaching is desired.
