The Department of Classics at Dartmouth College invites applications for a full-time visiting position in Classics, to begin in Fall 2017. We seek a Classicist, preferably with Ph.D. in hand, to teach courses in Latin and Greek at all levels, and one or more courses in translation, including a course on Ancient Drama. The position carries a five-course load over three consecutive quarters.
Applications should include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, graduate transcript, a writing sample (dissertation chapter, published paper, conference presentation), and three current letters of recommendation; applicants are also encouraged to offer evidence of teaching ability and experience. Review of applications will begin on March 13, 2017, and will continue until the position is filled.
