The Department of Classics at Swarthmore College is offering a one-year leave-replacement position at the level of Instructor or Assistant Professor for the academic year 2015-16. We are looking for a broadly trained Classicist with a strong interest in language teaching, classical mythology and/or material culture. Teaching experience is required. This is a one year, full-time appointment (five courses per year) beginning Fall 2015. We expect applicants to have completed a PhD by the start of the appointment.
