The Department of Classics in the McMicken College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Cincinnati invites applications for a one-year position as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Classics, to begin on August 15, 2015. The teaching duties may include a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses in Greek and Latin as well as undergraduate courses in Classical Civilization. A Ph.D. in Classics or a related field by the time of the appointment is expected, although we will also consider advanced ABD candidates.
