Kenyon College, a highly selective liberal arts college in central Ohio, invites applications for a two-year position with the possibility of renewal for a third year in the Department of Classics at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor, effective July 1, 2016.

Teaching responsibilities consist of five courses per year. Candidates must be qualified to teach both Greek and Latin at the elementary, intermediate, and advanced levels. In addition, we seek a colleague with a strong interest in teaching our established courses in translation as well as a special topic course of the candidate’s own devising. A Ph.D. in hand is preferred, but not required. Applicants must be able to demonstrate excellence in teaching.
