Visiting Assistant Professor of Classics for the 2017-2018 academic year beginning August 2017. This is a one-year appointment.

Duties: Teach 7 undergraduate courses/AY in Classics, Greek, and/or Latin as determined by programmatic needs and demand.

Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Classics or related field by the time of the appointment. Successful standalone teaching experience in Latin or Greek and courses taught in English. Research program. Excellent communication skills in English.

Preferred: Familiarity with undergraduate classics courses such as mythology, sex/gender, Greek and Roman literature, program development
