The Department of Classics at Princeton University announces a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Latin language and literature to begin in fall 2022. We seek to identify a candidate who has demonstrated exceptional promise as a scholar and teacher, whose research interests complement those already represented among department faculty, and who can help us expand and diversify our scholarly community.

Those wishing to be considered for this position are requested to submit a cover letter, a CV, a writing sample of not more than 30 pages, and the names of three referees. In the cover letter, please include discussion of your prospective contributions to promoting diversity and equity within the field.
