The Department of Classics at Columbia University invites applications for a one-year appointment beginning July 1, 2023 as a Lecturer in Discipline. The appointee will be expected to teach Latin language courses at all levels and may be asked to teach Greek language if needed. The teaching load will be five courses per year. Individuals with extensive and recent teaching experience in Latin at the college/university level and some demonstrable experience in teaching Greek are especially encouraged to apply.
