UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI, Department of Classics, is seeking applicants for a Visiting Assistant Professor to teach three courses per semester during Fall 2023 – Spring 2024. Ph.D. in Classics or related discipline required by time of appointment. At least one year’s experience in college teaching preferred. Duties include teaching undergraduate courses in Latin and/or Greek and/or in English translation as well as courses in Classical culture (special interest in Greek and Roman medicine, etymology, or environmental humanities is welcome), and participating in various departmental activities.
