The UCLA Department of Classics is seeking to appoint the Joan Palevsky Visiting Professor of Classics for 2016-2017, at the rank of Associate or Full Professor. The appointment will be held for one ten-week quarter during the academic year, preferably in the Fall (September 22nd-December 9th) or Spring (April 3rd-June 16th) Quarter. Teaching responsibilities will include a graduate seminar and an undergraduate reading course or lecture course. The successful candidate will also deliver a public lecture during his or her visit.

The Department of Classical Studies at Brandeis University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor or for a beginning Associate Professor (with tenure), to begin in Fall 2016.
