The Department of Greek and Roman Classics at Temple University invites applications from candidates for a non-tenure-track, full-time position (Assistant Professor of Instruction) starting for the academic year 2017-18. This position has the possibility of renewal, pending continued funding and satisfactory performance.
The Department of Classics at St. Olaf College invites applications for a full-time, tenure track position in Classics at the Assistant Professor level, to begin in August 2018. We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated teacher/scholar who will welcome the opportunity to work closely with undergraduates and to promote the study of Classics across the campus and around the world. The Department of History at the University of Chicago invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in Roman history to begin July 1, 2018. Research specialization is open. The successful candidate will contribute to both the undergraduate and graduate programs and will be required to teach one course per year in the University's core curriculum.
