Reed College invites applications for a two-year visiting appointment in Classics and Humanities beginning August 2018. We are seeking a classicist with a strong background in Greek and Latin literature. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate level. The Department of Historical Studies at the University of Toronto invites applications for a postdoctoral fellow in Ancient History. The appointment will begin on 01 July 2018. The post is initially funded for 12 months, with a possibility of renewal after successful review.

While primarily designed as a research post, in order to support career development, the position also includes some teaching duties (one 12-week course within the first academic year). The salary will be $41,000, which includes the teaching stipend. There are also some research funds allocated to this post.
