The Classics Department at Colorado College invites applications for a full-time one-year Visiting Assistant Professor of Classics, particularly from candidates with a strong background in material culture and able to teach Latin at all levels. Colorado College, a liberal arts institution that prizes innovative, interdisciplinary and student-focused teaching, operates on the Block Plan, where students take only one seminar-style class at a time for three and a half weeks and there are four such “blocks” per semester.
