The UCLA Department of History seeks a scholar with research and teaching expertise in the history of the ancient Roman world. We are searching for a qualified scholar who can demonstrate engagement with the changing dynamics of the field. We will consider candidates of all ranks, with a minimum requirement that PhDs must be in hand by the time of application. The search will close and the committee will begin reviewing applications on October 1, 2016.
