Applications for the Minority Scholarships in Classics and Classical Archaeology are due by 5pm (eastern) on December 16. The purpose of the scholarship is to further students’ preparation in classics or classical archaeology with opportunities not available during the school year.
Nominations for graduate students to participate in the 2017 summer seminar on material culture at Emory University should be submitted no later than January 1, 2017. SCS is inviting doctoral programs in Classics or Ancient History to nominate a student to participate in a 6-week seminar that will introduce ten graduate students to the use of material culture in their scholarship and teaching.
