PURDUE UNIVERSITY has informed us that due to low enrollments in other areas of their course offerengs, the search for the Classics Visiting Assistant Professor has been cancelled.
Visiting Instructor or Assistant Professor of Classics to begin January 2016. At present this position is part time and for one semester only.
Duties: Teach two courses in classical studies at the undergraduate level: Gender and Sexuality, and The Tragic Vision.
Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in hand or ABD in Classical Studies or related field. Demonstrated evidence of excellence and teaching in Classical Studies.
Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated evidence of excellence in teaching one or both of these content areas, and a research program congruent with one or both of them.
