Franklin & Marshall College invites applications for a one-year visiting position in the Department of Classics beginning Fall 2016. The rank will be Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Instructor, depending on qualifications. Applicants should possess or be close to completing a doctorate in Classics. The successful candidate must be able to teach courses in Ancient History and Greek or Latin at all levels. Teaching experience required. Teaching load is 3/2 and may include participation in the College's general education requirement, “Connections." Candidates should send a cover letter, curriculum vitae, graduate transcript, three letters of recommendation, teaching statement (research statement optional), and teaching evaluation forms.
